Easy To Used Bottled Water Dispenser

By Perry Thurston

Perhaps you have been considering having a bottled water dispenser installed in your home or office. In the past, bottled water dispensers were a plastic device that had a large water bottle sitting upside down on it with little knobs colored white, blue or red. Those type dispensers are readily available, there are also many other choices.

In shopping for water dispensers today, you will find dispensers that will hide the bottle or water as well as those which do not require a water bottle. The dispensers without a bottle are actually a self contained water filtration device. Ether type of dispenser may offer features such as hot or cold water on tap at all times.

Cold water is one great feature of the water dispensers. You can pour the water into your cup or water bottle and drink it without having to add ice. The hot water means that you can have hot tea, soup or cocoa without having for the water to warm in the microwave oven.

As said earlier, bottleless water dispensers are onsite water filtration systems. With bottled water, the water is filtered at a processing plant and kept in the bottles until you use it. Either process works well to remove the contaminates from your water and give you better tasting water.

If choosing a water dispenser to be used in an office, most people go with the basic design. Employees are glad that they no longer have to drink the chlorinated tap water. Many offices select a plain dispenser that simply dispenses room temperature water. This keeps employees from having to bring their own water to work. Tea drinkers appreciate the addition of a hot water tap, and almost everyone loves having chilled water available.

In your home you may choose a dispenser made of stainless steel, wood, pottery or even custom made to fit perfectly with your decor. You will find dispensers that are available for rent from water delivery services. Units may be purchased at many warehouse member stores or online.

You will find that there are both advantages and disadvantages for the bottled or bottleless water dispensers. Your choice must be based on what you can live with.

Bottled water dispensers require that you know how much water you will need each week. Deliveries come weekly, and if you do not order enough water, you could run out before the next delivery. You have to have a place to store you full and empty water bottles. The only required maintenance is occasionally cleaning the dispenser base, and many water delivery companies offer to do this for free.

Bottleless dispensers require no storage of bottles, full or empty. They dispense water from they lines in your home that is filtered for great taste. Since they are connected to the plumbing, you may need to pay a professional to provide the supply line from your existing plumbing. Filters will need to be changed occasionally and the reservoir needs regular cleaning. As long as the filters are changed, you never run out of water. - 30414
