10 Super Simple Weight Loss Tips

By Duncan Cheng

1)You Have to eat between 8 and 10 servings of veggies each day. I know it can sound as a super high amount of veggies. You can start by eating just 1 portion per day and work your way up increasing the quantity until you eat 8-10 servings of veggies.

2)If you want to have a good healthy diet you should eat at least 2 servings of fruits and vegetables at each meal. For example you can create a tasty side dish using vegetables and a fruit for dessert.

3)Avoid overeating and you won't get fatter. It doesn't matter how much you like to food found on your plate you should never ever ask for a second serving. It will only make you fatter and more depressed later.

4)You should get most of your calories form foods that require you to chew them. Instead of drinking juice eat a fresh fruit. It's much more nutritious and healthy.

5)Get into the habit of keeping a food journal. Write down everything you eat during the day. That way you can look back and see exactly why you are not losing weight, getting fatter or in the happy cases losing weight.

6)Half the food you eat at lunch and dinner should be made up by fresh vegetables. Vegetables contain just a few calories and you should reduce your calorie intake during the second part of the day. If possible eat only vegetables for dinner.

7)Mayo is super fattening and you should never eat it. To add that extra taste to your foods try using mustard. It contains fewer calories which makes it a much better choice than mayo.

8)You should try to include more soups, especially non-creamy soups, in your daily meals. They fill you up quite well and contain just a few calories.

9)Stop drinking calorie filled beverages like sodas, lemonade, sweet tea and all alcoholic beverages. I have a couple of juice crazed friends that lost a whole lot of weight just by stopping drinking beverages filled with calories.

10)You should eat more sweet potatoes instead of potatoes. They are much more good for your figure. - 30414
